How to use SOCAR

Firstly, download the app and register your name and make sure to take a picture of you with your driving license. Once you have uploaded that, upload a valid debit or credit card to complete your registration. Next, enter your preferred time and SOCAR zone. After that, you can pick which car you would like to book and tap 'book & pay now'. At the end of your transaction, you will receive a message to confirm your booking. If you wish to cancel your reservations, you may do so but there will be a cancellation fee. The unique feature about using SOCAR is that you don't need car keys to drive the cars, all you need is your phone. Another unique thing about SOCAR is that you can choose if you would like to make a round trip or a one-way trip. For one way trips, you may park the SOCAR at any legal parking space available near the drop off location zone.

Driving yourself to the airport

Using SOCAR is ideal especially when you would like to go to the airport. A normal taxi ride or Grab from KL city could cost up to RM70. With SOCAR you can book a one-way ride with rental prices as low as RM30. The benefits of driving a SOCAR to the airport is that the petrol will be covered and a season pass will be provided.

SOCAR points

SOCAR points are very beneficial as it helps to protect the cars and elevates the experience. The conversion ratio for SOCAR points to MYR is 1:1. One SOCAR point is equivalent to RM1. The best thing about collecting SOCAR points is that there is no expiry date for SOCAR points. You can also earn GrabRewards Points with every RM1 that you spend with SOCAR.

Fuel Reimbursements

There are two ways to claim your fuel reimbursements. The first way would be by getting the reimbursements in the form of SOCAR Points and receiving the reimbursements within a 12 hour period. The second method to claim your fuel reimbursement would be through online banking. However, it will take 2-10 days for them to process the money and transfer it to your account.
