Malaysia Social Research Institute

The Malaysian Social Research Institute (MSRI) provides health, education and livelihood support to urban refugees living in the Klang Valley. As of February 2016, 1,832 families are registered at the SSC, amounting to around 5,677 refugees and asylum-seekers. Our target population comes mainly from Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Palestine, Syria, Pakistan, with a smaller number coming from countries such as Somalia, Yemen, Sudan or Nigeria.

Global Environment Centre

Global Environment Centre works on environmental issues both directly and through many partners in areas of Forest and Coastal, River Care and Community Outreach programmes. It supports information exchange and capacity building as well as undertakes strategic projects particularly in developing countries. It works in partnership with other like-minded agencies worldwide.

Salam Malaysia

SALAM is a non-profit organisation that aims to promote and strengthen domestic and international volunteerism. It was established to cultivate a tradition of community service amongst Malaysians by providing them with the opportunity to live and work with disadvantaged communities. SALAM regards volunteer work as a meaningful and effective way to help people lead better lives. SALAM encourages volunteers to work with people and communities in need, sharing with them their knowledge and skills, and most important of all, their time.

Malaysian Nature Society

The Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) is Malaysia's largest and oldest non-government environmental organisation. Through the joint efforts of its members, partners and supporters, MNS has become a strong voice for the protection of Malaysia's natural heritage. From environmental education to conservation, MNS' noble efforts remain true to its motto "Know nature, value nature and act for nature".

Epic Homes

EPIC Collaborative is a social enterprise comprised of individuals who utilise their skills to impact society in positive ways. From home building projects, skills & capacity building to disaster relief and recovery coordination, the initiative designs and creates collaborative platforms that allow ordinary people to impact society in fun and creative ways.

Roots & Shoots

Jane Goodall's Roots & Shoots is a programme of the Jane Goodall Institute. The programme is about making positive change happen for people, for animals and for the environment. The Roots & Shoots network connects youths of all ages who share a desire to create a better world, with young people identifying problems in their communities and taking action.
